    To redeem a physical gift card:

    • Find the claim code on the back of the card, under the peel-off sticker or the silver scratch-off section.

    An Amazon gift card claim code is 14 or 15 characters long and will usually contain both letters and numbers.

    • Go to Redeem a Gift Card.
    • Enter your claim code and select Apply to Your Balance.

    To redeem an electronic gift card:

    • Go to the Amazon webpage. Make sure you are signed into the account that you want to redeem the Gift Card. If not, sign out and then log back into the correct account.
    • If delivered via email, select Apply to your Amazon Account. You may be prompted to sign into your account. 
    • If delivered via text, select the link to be brought to the redemption page, then Apply it to your Amazon Account.

    Although Amazon’s gift card expiration policy is currently no expiration, their policies may change over time. It’s a good idea to review the terms and conditions of gift cards regularly, especially if you have one you haven’t used for a long period.
